History
Jorge Lovera and Ted Agoos established Agoos/Lovera Architects (A/LA) in September 1983, after several years of working together in leading Philadelphia design firms.
The original staff of three has grown to forty. The staffing size and quality provide our firm and clients with a significant level of technical depth, consistently high quality levels of design and documentation, and staffing flexibility.
Since the beginning, our mission as a firm has been to provide the highest possible level of design services to a diversified client base; we quickly reached that goal, with designs for private and public clients in the corporate, education, civic, residential, and sports/entertainment fields.
Agoos/Lovera Architects’ sustained growth over the years has been with a clear sense of purpose, and sound, ongoing long-range planning. Consistent with our growth, Dave Franke and Jim Rowe became Principals in 1999, joining Jorge Lovera and Ted Agoos in leading Agoos/Lovera Architects.
Agoos/Lovera Architects’ size and organizational structure allow the firm to successfully complete complex projects with a construction range of $1 million to $300 million.
