Michael Spain, NOMA, Assoc AIA, of Agoos/Lovera Architects (A/LA), as part of AIA Philadelphia's Annual Regional Conference Design on the Delaware conducted a tour entitled “OUT OF THE SHADOWS: The Works of Julian Francis Abele” Michael has conducted tours of Julian Francis Abele‘s works for The Preservation Alliance and the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects.
Agoos/Lovera Architects and Central Philadelphia Development Corporation (CPDC) recently hosted an Open House at A/LA's studio to highlight current and recent projects, as well as a display of unbuilt work from over the years. A/LA also screened a lively film prepared last fall in celebration of 25 years in practice.
Also, A/LA recently hosted a presentation by Phillip Freelon FAIA of his team's exciting winning design for the new Museum of African American History and Culture on the Mall in Washington. The event was attended by Architects and other attendees of Brandywine Workshop's annual awards program, which was held this year on the top floor of The Residences at Two Liberty, designed by A/LA.
