Millersville University – McComsey Hall
This project involves the upgrade of the main classroom and office building for the University’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and consists of a complete renovation of the existing 37,000 square foot structure as well as a 39,000 square foot addition. The completed facility includes a new multipurpose room for school-wide gatherings, specialized teaching labs, computer labs, meeting rooms, seminar rooms, classrooms, and administrative and faculty offices for seven departments. Classrooms include a number of tiered, multimedia spaces with distance education capability. The expanded building conforms to the University’s Master Plan and will define the southern edge of the University’s South Academic Region quadrangle.
